Blazer Club

Each year, UAB Athletics incurs more than $6 million in scholarship costs for Blazer student-athletes.  Increases in tuition continue to dramatically increase and the average cost of attendance is approximately $17,000 per student-athlete.

The Blazer Club is the annual vehicle to offset annual scholarship costs of approximately 350 UAB student-athletes.  Memberships to the Blazer Club range from a minimum of $100 to more than $15,000 annually.  The main benefit of membership in the Blazer Club is the opportunity to provide UAB student-athletes with an opportunity to obtain an education while competing at the highest level of NCAA intercollegiate athletics.  However, Blazer Club Scholarship Fund members also receive other benefits based on giving level such as tax deductions, decals, option to purchase priority seats, access to hospitality rooms, invitations to private events, etc.  Please click here to review the benefits of belonging to the Blazer Club.
